2. Once satisfied with the design, save the file and print onto paper or acetate.
3. Cut out the unnecessary open spaces from the design that was printed on paper or the acetate. 
4. Once cut, you can now use your stencil.  All you need is to secure the edges of the stencil unto the surface of your canvas where you will put the stencils on.  Once secure, you can now either trace the design using pencil, color or even paint. 
5. When tracing your letters, do it slowly.  If using liquid medium such as textile paint or poster color, apply it slowly and blot it every now and then to ensure even distribution of the color.
6. Once done, let your project dry completely before removing the stencil.
